Canadian singer/songwriter, Mac Demarco announced late last night on his record label’s social media that new music is coming in August 2025. The album will closely follow a North American and European tour that kicks off in Los Angeles, California on the 29th of August and eventually ends in Victoria, BC, Canada on the 19th of December.
Mac Demarco hasn’t released new music since the surprise release of ‘One Wayne G’ (a 199 song album comprised mostly of instrumentals) in April 2023. The announcement of a new album contained no further details or hints on the direction that Mac is taking his sound or a specific date that it will release, only August 2025.
